SUMMARY:
Coordinates the sale and delivery of Catapult Professional Development
and/or Parent Involvement services to educators and parents within
established financial parameters and in a specific assigned geographical
or program area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other
duties may be assigned..
- Identifies and hires Professional Development Presenters,
Coaches/Outside Vendors
- Supervises the Professional Development Presenters and Coaches and
ensures program quality
- Identifies local PD Service needs (frequently via sales or local
program manager)
- Facilitates and processes PD Work Order Forms
- Oversees the scheduling and delivery of workshops, maintaining profit
margins
- Maintains PD records including presenters' credentials, and PD
workshop master files.
- Tracks Workshop deliveries, evaluation summary information, and
revenues generated from the workshops and maintains the records within
the PD Data Base.
- Facilitates the payment of presenters and vendors
- Reviews session evaluations with presenters to track the quality of
the presentations
- Communicates actively with all directors regarding activities
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS in Education or related field and at least 3 years experience
working with K-12 students in a school setting. Has experience
delivering professional development workshops to adults. Masters Degree
and teaching certification preferred. School administration
skills/experience is desired. Excellent communication skills and
entrepreneurial spirit are essential.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to travel to provide PD workshops, meet on sales calls, and
support presenter teams.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Light lifting, walking, climbing stairs. Most programs are in school
settings.
